Living Lab workshop on Designing strategies for better governance of persistent chemicals in the Black Sea basin took place on May 28-29 in Varna, Bulgaria. Varna Economic Development Agency seized the opportunity to participate in the workshop to distribute the WINBLUE project brochure to attendees and establish new contacts for further collaboration on gender equality issues in the blue economy sectors, which is the focus of the WINBLUE project. The Living Lab workshop was organized by the Black Sea NGO Network. It is part of the EU research project ‘Source to Seas – Zero Pollution 2030’ (SOS-ZEROPOL2030), funded by the European Union. It brought together stakeholders from various European countries, including industry experts, policymakers, researchers, and NGOs, to foster meaningful dialogue on strategies to reduce pollution.
